Ground transport

Full and partial loads within Honduras and across the Central American corridor, with the equipment each shipment needs.

  • Domestic FTL and LTL
  • Central American corridor
  • Van, reefer, flatbed and lowboy
  • Port drayage

What it involves

The road leg is what most often ruins a well-planned shipment. It is where port pickup delays, container demurrage and damage from poor stowage appear.

We work with vetted carriers holding valid insurance and inspected units, and we assign equipment to the cargo: dry van for general goods, reefer for cold chain, flatbed or lowboy for machinery, and chassis for container moves out of the port.

On the Central American corridor we handle transit under DUCA-T, coordinate border crossings and track en route, so the client knows where the cargo is without having to call the driver.

What’s included

What this service covers

01

Full truckload (FTL)

The unit runs dedicated to your shipment, with no intermediate stops or transfers. The right choice for large volumes, sensitive cargo or time-definite deliveries.

02

Less than truckload (LTL)

You share the unit and the cost with other shipments on the same corridor. A good fit for recurring mid-volume moves between San Pedro Sula, Tegucigalpa and inland cities.

03

Port and airport drayage

Container or loose cargo pickup as soon as it is released, transfer to your warehouse or bonded facility, and empty return within free time so no demurrage accrues.

04

Specialised equipment

Flatbed, lowboy and extendable trailers for heavy machinery; refrigerated units with temperature logging; and tractors with 20’, 40’ and combo chassis.

Frequently asked questions

About this service

All questions

Do you move cargo between Central American countries?

Yes. We operate the corridor from Guatemala to Panama under DUCA-T transit, coordinating each border customs post and safeguarding the unit along the way.

What if my warehouse has no ramp or dock?

We schedule a unit with a tail lift or arrange a forklift on site. It is worth flagging at quoting time: solving it on delivery day costs more and delays unloading.
