02Services
General, perishable and dangerous goods with the main airlines. Charter and part charter for urgent or oversize shipments.
What it involves
Air freight is the choice when time is worth more than the rate: a stopped production line, a critical spare, a sample that has to arrive before a trade show, or perishable cargo with a short shelf life.
We compare routes and airlines on every shipment rather than working with a single carrier. The fastest departure is often not the most direct one, and the difference between a well-chosen connection and a poor one is twenty-four hours and several hundred dollars.
We handle general, perishable and dangerous goods under IATA DGR rules, with the documentation, labelling and packaging each class requires. We operate through the country’s three international airports: Palmerola (XPL) in Comayagua, Ramón Villeda Morales (SAP) in San Pedro Sula and Golosón (LCE) in La Ceiba.
What’s included
Standard, priority or next-flight-out service depending on urgency. We issue master and house air waybills, secure space and coordinate pickup at the plant.
Fresh produce, pharmaceuticals and biological samples with thermal packaging, gel packs or dry ice, and temperature logging throughout the journey.
UN number classification, shipper’s declaration, labelling and approved packaging. We check each airline’s restrictions before booking, not after.
When volume, weight or urgency exceed what a commercial flight allows, we charter a full aircraft or a portion of the hold, including overflight and landing permits.
How we work

We define whether the shipment justifies air or whether an express ocean option makes more sense. When air is not the right answer, we say so.
We book space, issue the air waybill and prepare the dangerous goods declaration or health certificate where applicable.
Flight-by-flight tracking. If a connection is missed, we look for the next available departure the same day it happens.
We prepare the declaration in advance so the cargo can leave the customs area on the day of arrival whenever possible.
Frequently asked questions
By the greater of actual and volumetric weight, the latter calculated by dividing the volume in cubic centimetres by 6,000. Bulky, light cargo pays by volume — which is why packaging directly affects the cost.
Yes, provided the goods are correctly classified, packed and declared under IATA DGR. We need the safety data sheet (MSDS) before quoting, because the available airline and route depend on it.
