15 years moving cargo between Honduras and the world
International freight forwarder
International freight forwarder with 15 years operating in Honduras. Ocean, air and ground, with in-house customs and an agent network across the world’s main origins.
Company profile
PRIME LOGISTICS is a Honduran company dedicated to moving international cargo. We work with an agent network across the world’s main origins, which lets us handle imports and exports without depending on a single operator or a single route.
What sets us apart is not owning trucks or ships: it is that freight and customs are handled inside the same operation. Whoever books your shipment is who prepares your declaration — and that removes the point where imports into Honduras most often get stuck.

Services
You can contract them separately or hand us the whole chain. Most of our clients start with one and end up moving everything with us.
Full container, consolidated cargo, project and out-of-gauge shipments from any port in the world to Puerto Cortés, Puerto Castilla or San Lorenzo.
General, perishable and dangerous goods with the main airlines. Charter and part charter for urgent or oversize shipments.
Full and partial loads within Honduras and across the Central American corridor, with the equipment each shipment needs.
Presence at customs offices nationwide to clear your cargo quickly: tariff classification, declaration, prior permits and release.
Origin warehouses worldwide where you can consolidate, segregate and pack your cargo before shipping it in a single move.
All-risk door-to-door cover at market rates, with real support on the claim if something goes wrong.
Guidance to choose the right Incoterm, structure costs, understand the applicable customs regime and decide with numbers before you buy.
How we work
The same procedure for a consolidated pallet and for a project container. The complexity changes, the way we work does not.
01
Goods, volume, origin and target date. That is enough to start — we work out the rest.
02
Freight, surcharges, insurance, estimated duties and local charges. The final figure, not the hook.
03
Booking, pickup, sailing and tracking. If something changes en route, you hear it from us first.
04
Declaration prepared before arrival, release and transport to your warehouse door.
Global network
Working with our own correspondents at origin means someone checks your cargo before it ships, not when it is too late to fix anything.

Why PRIME
We do not compete on being cheapest on the first quote. We compete on the final cost being the one we quoted and the cargo arriving when we said.
Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, working together is success.
Correspondents in the main origins across Asia, North America, Europe and Latin America. Someone you can trust handling your cargo at both ends of the route.
Ocean, air and ground under one point of contact. If it makes sense to switch modes mid-route, we switch without switching suppliers.
Freight and clearance do not travel apart: whoever moves the cargo is who clears it, removing the handoff where most shipments get lost.
We are a team you can actually call. No call centre, no ticket queue, no three-day wait for an answer that takes five minutes.
To deliver logistics services and solutions with a high degree of commitment, loyalty, safety, quality and responsibility; meeting agreed parameters on time and working efficiently to reduce the risk and cost of every operation.
To be recognised as a leading and pioneering company in the logistics sector through innovation and technology adoption, meeting our clients’ needs on time, every time.
Frequently asked questions
It organises the international movement of your goods end to end: it contracts transport with carriers, airlines and truckers, prepares documentation, handles customs clearance and coordinates final delivery. In practice, it is the single point of contact between your overseas supplier and your warehouse.
A valid tax ID (RTN), the supplier’s commercial invoice and packing list, and clarity on the purchase Incoterm. Depending on the product, prior registrations or permits from SENASA, ARSA or SAG may be required — and are best filed before paying for the goods. We walk you through the whole list.
Total cost combines international freight, carrier surcharges, port charges, duties and VAT, clearance fees and inland transport. Freight moves with origin, season and equipment availability, so the number that matters is the landed cost — and we calculate it from your goods’ description, value and origin.
For most importers in Honduras, FOB or FCA give the best control: the supplier delivers at the origin port or terminal and you decide who ships and on what terms. One point about CIF is worth clearing up, because it is often misread: it does not take work off your hands. The seller only pays freight and minimum insurance to the destination port; discharge, local charges, customs and inland transport are still yours, and on top of that you lose sight of what is actually being paid in freight. DDP, in turn, almost always hides the seller’s margin.
By ocean, 5–12 days from the southern United States, 18–28 from Europe and 30–45 from Asia, plus clearance at destination. By air, 2–6 days depending on route and connections. Origin consolidation and customs release add to those figures and are what vary most.
Commercial invoice, packing list, transport document (bill of lading, air waybill or road consignment note) and certificate of origin where a tariff preference applies. Depending on the product, health, phytosanitary permits, prior registrations or agency authorisations are added.
